Francisco Hernandez, the creative director of Built for Man, presented our plans for the Independent Designer Runway Show to the panel at the Bellevue Collection yesterday. Built for Man is thrilled to see that so many talented designers have been invited to participate this year! Sarah Butler, Fashion Editorial Coordinator at Bellevue Collection, created a video talking about the upcoming show and designers. The Indie Fashion Show will be one of the events leading the Bellevue fashion week. However, the calendar of events is impressively packed with happy hours, parties, style experts, and, of course, plenty of runway shows.
The Built for Man concept presentation for the event gave an overview of our organization and featured fantastic photography from Cameron Karsten, Fiona Pepe who did the editorial pictures on accessories, and Christine Buffalow who took all of the runway photos. We recently had a photo shoot with Cameron Karsten at the Cha Cha lounge in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The lounge gave us some great shots with its Virgin Mary statues, pinball machine, traditional Mexican artwork, and wall made of cement and glass from bottles. We’re excited to publish more of our photos from the shoot and keep you updated on our preparations for the Indie Fashion Show coming up in September.
